Thank you for subscribing! TRISON collaborated in the audiovisual integration of Zara Man Osaka, creating an immersive retail space inspired by Japanese culture.
Located in the heart of Osaka’s Dōtonbori district — one of the city’s most iconic and visually intense areas — the challenge was to design an interior experience that would stand apart from the surrounding urban noise.
The goal was to create a space that felt serene and sophisticated, where audiovisual technology would not dominate, but instead reinforce a local Japanese storytelling, respecting traditional aesthetics while expressing a contemporary vision of retail.

Audiovisual solutions were conceived not as standalone elements, but as part of the architectural language, shaping light, rhythm and emotion throughout the space.
A large-format screen placed at the upper level acts as the visual epicentre of the space. Concealed behind a traditional Japanese-style panel, the screen reinterprets the concept of the shōji, transforming digital content into a soft, diffused light source.
Rather than being perceived as a display, the screen becomes a contemporary window — creating depth, movement and a subtle play of light and shadow that can be experienced from different points of the store.

Sound plays a key role in the project through a dedicated Listening Room, designed as a moment of pause within the retail journey. A professional audio system, fully integrated into the furniture, creates a warm and enveloping atmosphere that invites customers to slow down and connect with the space.
In addition, discreet digital solutions are integrated in functional areas such as the fitting rooms. A screen at the entrance indicates cabin availability in real time, bringing clarity and order while maintaining the calm, carefully crafted aesthetic of the store.
Zara Man Osaka is a clear example of how audiovisual integration can enhance retail environments through subtlety, respect for local identity and a strong experiential vision.
